Are you among those set of people who had never heard or used a VPN before, ok that’s fine, i guess you are in the right place because am going to explain it bit by bit today.

A virtual private network (VPN) extends a private network across a public network, and enables users to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if their computing devices were directly connected to the private network. Applications running across the VPN may therefore benefit from the functionality, security, and management of the private network.

VPNs cannot make online connections completely anonymous, but they can usually increase privacy and security. To prevent disclosure of private information, VPNs typically allow only authenticated remote access using tunneling protocols and encryption techniques.

I personally got to know about VPN few years ago, when the glo 0.0kb cheat was still blazing hot.

The most important thing you need to know about a VPN: It secures your computer’s internet connection to guarantee that all of the data you’re sending and receiving is encrypted and secured from prying eyes.

Whether the VPNs you’re familiar with are the ones offered by your school or business to help you work or stay connected when you’re traveling or the ones you pay to get you watch your favorite shows in another country as they air, they’re all doing the same thing.

Why should you always use a VPN, here are the reasons:

  1. To stay safe while downloading on BiTorrent and it’s likes. In summary can be used for illegal downloading.
  2.  To hide your IP address.
  3. To access social media in restricted countries like China, Iran and UAE.
  4. To safely shop online.
  5. To write anonymously on forums
  6. To unblock restricted websites.

Using VPN to browse is better, but in countries like China, VPN is banned.

If i was to recommend any VPN to you, i would recommend you using paid VPN like Express Vpn, but if not use Flash Vpn etc.

But it depends on your mission, you might not need vpn but if you need a vpn and you can’t get a free one, i will recommend you using a proxy server –  i will be writing on that sooner or later.
